DECML · How it works
PDF in. Normalized wells. QuickBooks out.
Three moves, one path. DECML — the Intellese flagship — does not replace your ledger. It stops the oil & gas mess from living between the operator PDF and the books.
01
Parse
Revenue checks and JIB PDFs in. DECML extracts amounts, periods, well IDs, and decimal interests from the statements you already receive.
02
Normalize
Wells and ownership land in one database. Aliases collapse. Working interest stays attached to the asset, not a tab name.
03
QuickBooks
Clean entries sync to QuickBooks Desktop or Online. The GL you trust stays put. The oil & gas mess stops living in spreadsheets.

Read the statements you already get
Operators send revenue checks and joint interest bills as PDFs — sometimes scans, sometimes digital originals. DECML auto-parses those files: periods, gross and net, deductions, well identifiers, and decimal interest where the statement carries them.
The point is not a prettier inbox. It is structured data instead of a stack on someone’s desk.

02 · Normalize
One well. One ownership. Every month.
Statements disagree with each other. “HAYN 14H,” “Haynesville 14 H,” and an API in a footnote are the same asset. DECML keeps a well database with ownership and decimal interest so the name on the PDF does not become a new row in the workbook.
Normalization is what lets you see the asset — not a pile of aliases.

03 · QuickBooks
Sync clean entries. Keep the file.
DECML syncs to QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. Your bookkeeper stays in the company file. Your CPA stays in the reports they already know. What changes is the handoff: structured oil & gas data instead of copy-paste.
No new chart of accounts. No 18-month implementation. Start with the bottleneck.
